What is fuego en la sangre?

Fuego en la Sangre is a Mexican telenovela that aired on Televisa from January 21 to October 31, 2008. The show was produced by Salvador Mejía Alejandre and starred Adela Noriega, Eduardo Yáñez, Elizabeth Álvarez, and Jorge Salinas. It is based on the 1990 Venezuelan telenovela, Un Esposo para Estela.

The story revolves around the Reyes brothers who plot revenge against the Elizondo family after they are wrongfully accused of killing their sister. However, things become complicated when the Reyes brothers fall in love with three of the Elizondo sisters.

Fuego en la Sangre was a huge success in Mexico and internationally, becoming one of the most popular telenovelas of 2008. It was also nominated and won multiple awards, including the TVyNovelas Award for Best Telenovela of the Year.
